BiographyHistory

Betty has a BA (University of Cape Town 1949) and a Higher Diploma of Librarianship (University of Cape Town 1963). She has raised three children, and from 1978-1993 was Chief Librarian, Cape Town City Libraries. When she retired she came to South Australia to be with her daughters and grandchildren. It has been in this period since her retirement that she has found time to write poetry. She also enjoys reading, sculpture and water colour painting.
