BiographyHistory

As a member of the Stolen Generation, Meg Freil's younger years were spent in Darwin and Alice Springs. She left high school before completing year 12, and found work as a housekeeper.

After two years at the Aboriginal Task Force, she went to the University of New South Wales to complete a Bachelor of Jurisprudence. Freil then moved into the education workforce and has been encouraging and helping Indigenous students for over twenty years.
