BiographyHistory

Dawn Bessarab is a saltwater woman from Broome. Her father belonged to the Bardi people from Boolgin and her mother was an Indjibarndi woman and they were both great storytellers. She is a social worker and has completed her Doctoral thesis on Indigenous people's constructions of gender identities.
