BiographyHistory

Jamie Liddle grew up in Alice Springs. He raised chickens and sold their eggs to pay for his pilot tuition. Liddle 'completed an apprenticeship as an aircraft maintenance engineer' (Tweedie, P., Indigenous Australia: Standing Strong, Simone & Schuster, 2001, p.16) before gaining his commerical pilot's license. He then went on to work for Qantas Airlink and Cathay Pacific Airways.
