BiographyHistory

'Cordwainer Smith' was the pseudonym the American writer and academic Paul M. Linebarger used for his highly regarded science fiction works. He wrote novels under other pseudonyms, and books on China under his own name. He spent some time as an Associate Professor at the Australian National University, Canberra, in the late 1950s and his novel Norstrilia has an Australian setting.
