BiographyHistory

Isabel Reid was born Isabel May Hampton. Her father was Alfred James Hampton from Nyngan and her mother was Florence Margaret Hickey from Brungle. At seven years of age Isabel and her sister were taken to Cootamundra Girls Home and her brother was taken to Kinchella Boys Home; they were picked up by strangers on their way home from school.
