BiographyHistory

Carol Ridgeway-Bissett is a Maaiangal traditional custodian of the Worimi Nation who lobbies all levels of government to have Aboriginal sacred sites protected from mining and/or development. She has appeared on ABC Radio National's Earthbeat (11/11/00) and has been featured in local and major newspapers. She helped devise the Activity Kit and Teacher's Kit for The Koori Walk: A Study of Useful Wild Foods, Medicine and Useful Plants for the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens.
