Grace Williams was born in Byrock in 1923. Her father was Frank Williams and her mother was Caroline Parker. Her father was a Black Tracker for the Byrock police. He worked seventeen years before being inducted as a member of the Police Force. In 1953 he received an Imperial Service Medal. Williams has lived in Bourke.
