BiographyHistory

Barbara Timbery was born on Roseby Park mission in 1913. Her mother was Christina Dixon and her father was Robert Lonesborough. Barbara worked at the Bridge Hotel in Nowra from the age of fifteen. Barbara went to the dances at Greenwell Point School of Arts and also at Orient Point, where she won trophies for ballroom dancing.
