BiographyHistory

John Panquee, his sister, and his mother were taken from their home in the Daly River area to the Kahlin Compound. Panquee only spent a short time at the compound before authorities removed the male children from Kahlin to Pine Creek. Panquee was very distressed to be removed from his mother and sister. He was later sent to Bathurst Island Mission where he stayed for ten years.
