BiographyHistory

Duncan Miller served with the Australian army during the Second World War. W. Milgate (q.v.) wrote in his Foreword to Down From My Hills that Miller was a fellow-member of the first meetings of the Poetry Society of Australia in Sydney. 'He has fulfilled the Society's main aim, which is to assist poets, nurtured among and stimulated by Australian scenes and experiences...' Miller has also written Lane Cove River Park Notebook : Including a Short History of the Park (1983).
