BiographyHistory

Kim Chapman was adopted at birth by a non-Indigenous couple. Chapman's mother helped her access the services of Link-Up to find information about her birth family. At fifteen, Chapman found out her birth mother was Aboriginal and her birth father was from Yugoslavia; and at seventeen, Chapman was told her mother had died just two years after Chapman was born. Link-Up helped put Chapman in touch with her grandmother and brothers and sisters. Chapman has trained in community work.
