BiographyHistory

Banggaldun was born at a spring named Djeiyiim in Legune country in the Kimerberleys. He is from the Yilngali people from Auvergne. His father's country was Alligator Spring, near Bradshaw. His mother was from the Carlton Hill area and her language was Dulbung. Banggaldun's mother brought him to Legune as a young child and later resided at Carlton. He worked as a stockman at Ivanhoe Station and on occasions at surrounding stations.
