BiographyHistory

Mary Brady was born on Macumba Station. Her father was from the Aranda people and her mother was from the Wangkangurru people. Mary Brady grew up on Macumba Station and began working for the Kempe family with her parents. Mary was the cousin of Sidney Stuart (q.v.) and the wife of Tom Brady (q.v.). Her knowledge of the areas around Macumba and Hamilton Stations was extensive.
