BiographyHistory

Frank Ross worked as a shearer and a labourer in the sugar-mills and meatworks before retiring to Euri Creek, near Bowen. Under the pen-name 'Billabong Bill' he was a regular contributor to Bill Bowyang's 'On the Track' column in the North Queensland Register from 1923 to 1928.
