BiographyHistory

Lyn Lawrence gained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and began teaching in 1974. She later obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Teacher-Librarianship) from Edith Cowan University. Lawrence has worked as a teacher-librarian in Rockhampton and was the Queensland Teacher-Librarian of the Year in 2008.

Lawrence has been a member of the Australian Society of Authors and Queensland Writers Centre; she has written poetry for Cherububble, an online website promoting Australian literature for children in the 4 to 8 years age group.
