BiographyHistory

Winnie McHenry, sister of Basil Winmar, is a Noongar Elder from the wheatbelt area of Western Australia and was born on Badjaling Mission. Winnie has been a committee member of the Wheatbelt Commission of Elders and has represented this forum at state level. McHenry  lives and works at Badjaling where she teaches students about Noongar culture.
