BiographyHistory

Gwen Eades is the daughter of Ivan Williams and Muriel Haywood. She was the sixth of nine children and she lived on the Gnowangerup Mission until the age of ten. She is a Noongar elder from Mt Barker in the Great Southern region of Western Australia and is also the mother of Dr Sandra Eades, the first Noongar to become a doctor.
