BiographyHistory

Celena Catipovski came to Australia in 1979 with her mother and brother. She settled in Melbourne, gaining work at first in factories and later as a bilingual teacher's aid in schools. In the 1990s she became a part-time interpreter. She also joined the Women's Circus, a Melbourne-based circus performance group. An interview with her appears in Women's Circus, pp 51-54.
