BiographyHistory

Sharp spent her early years in Sydney, and was a trainee nurse at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She travelled with her army officer husband and three children throughout Australia and overseas. Sharp's ancestor, Edward Powell, was one of the first five free settlers to come to Australia in the ship Bellona in 1793.
