BiographyHistory

Cartoonist and illustrator 'WEG' was well-known for his premiership posters of the winning teams of the Victorian Football League (VFL) and the Australian Football League (AFL). 'WEG' began the poster series in 1954 and funds raised from their sale went to the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.
