BiographyHistory

Reckentin was educated in Queensland at Nundah Convent, the Queensland Correspondence School and Stotts Business College. She holds a diploma from the DDIAE for short story writing and a Certificate IV in adult training from Northpoint Tafe. Reckentin is a writer, poet and artist, and is the publisher and editor of SHORTZ Magazine - a quarterly magazine of short stories from writers all over Australia. She also publishes books under the name SHORTZ, and is the founder and Chairperson of the Regional Writers' Guild.

Reckentin has also written a writers' handbook, The Shortz Short Story Book (1999), and has illustrated children's works by Andree Cleeland (q.v.).
