BiographyHistory

Aidee Watego obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Education, Master of Arts focussing on Contemporary Aboriginal Literature. He taught in the English Department at The University of Queensland in the 1980s and 1990s and worked as Schools Liaison Officer in the Aboriginal and Islander Studies Unit.

He was posthumously awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by The University of Queensland for his thesis 'Critical Issues in/for Black Australian Literature'.
