Notes

  • Kreymborg sent his poem 'Good Bye, Phar Lap, Good Bye' to the Australian Copyright Office on 8 April 1932 with a request for copyright. A typescript of the poem and the copyright application form and accompanying correspondence is held in the National Archives of Australia collection. The Archives lists the author's name as Robert Henry Kreym Borg on it's primary description of the poem, request and correspondence, however the name is typed as R. Kreymborg on the typescript of the poem and variously as R. H. Kreymborg and Robert Henry Kreymborg on the copyright application form and correspondence. The copyright application form has the surname Crambourne crossed out.
