Victor Kline studied law at Sydney University. He has since practised law in Sydney, worked with the Australian Legal Aid Service and been a barrister in Alice Springs. Kline has travelled and worked in England, France and New Guinea. Returning to Sydney in 1981, Kline has also been involved in publishing of both law and fiction, and in the theatre (as an actor, writer, director, teacher).
