BiographyHistory

Before migrating to Australia, Mario Licon was co-editor of the magazine Germen (1973-1975). He also has had four books of poetry published in Mexico: Divagagavadi (1981), Arco de Tiempo (1985), Nostos en el Umbral (1990) and La Reverberacion de la Ceniza (2004). He continues to write for Mexican magazines including Oasis, Dos Filos and Alforja. In 1999 he was invited to read at the International Week of Poetry in Barcelona. In 2001 he contributed a brief overview of Mexican poetry to the anthology Many Voices.
