Rosemary Lewis graduated in social work from the University of Sydney and has been a drama teacher. She has been deeply influenced by the Animal Liberation movement and has also been involved with conservation and Aboriginal rights causes. Her writing has appeared in journals such as Womanspeak, Maggies Farm, Animal Friends and The Vegan Society Journal.
