BiographyHistory

Ahmen Faiek is a Kurdish artist from northern Iraq. He left Iraq for Turkey in 1994, where he was eventually granted refugee status by Australia. In Australia he has continued to paint and has had several exhibitions of his work. [Source: Fire, Snow and Honey, pp.251-256]
