BiographyHistory

Robertson decided to be a writer when she was twelve, but was discouraged in high school. She trained to become a teacher in Canberra, where she saw at first hand that children liked fantasy and that the development of imagination in children was important. She also wrote Anna's Diary: my German travels age 16 (1994) which the German Embassy used as an orientation text for student exchange programmes.
