BiographyHistory

A pseudonym used by the American author Mason Hoffenberg. Hoffenberg served in the military service in world war two and lived in Paris after the war. He wrote many pornographic novels under various pseudonyms, including the name Faustine Pez. These were noted for their self-referential and ironic deployments of the genre. He became a member of the Bob Dylan entourage in the 1960s and 1970s and lived in Woodstock. His book Sin For Breakfast was banned in Australia in 1959.
