BiographyHistory

Conditioned by poverty and sorrow Shirley Murphy fought for the rights of children and social justice in the La Perouse community. Her work is well known and appreciated to the extent she was made an 'honorary Koori' at a dinner in her honour. In 2002 she was a founding member of the La Perouse Save the Kids Committee.
