A Catholic organisation named for Archbishop Romero (1917-1980), the Romero Community works for the relief of poor and disadvantaged people, including refugees and temporary Protection Visa holders, supports overseas relief programmes, and works towards reconciliation with the Aboriginal people of Australia, lobbying governments to treat all people with justice and compassion.
