BiographyHistory

Ashbee was an English book collector, writer and bibliographer notable for his particular focus on sexuality. After his death in 1900, his entire collection of erotica was donated to the British Museum, where some of it is still housed. Ashbee is also suspected to be 'Walter', author of the novel, My Secret Life, banned in Australia and England.
