BiographyHistory

Bauer claimed to be Hitler's understudy, or 'double', claiming Hitler had died of poisoning in 1938. He wrote The Strange Death of Adolf Hitler, detailing his own life as one of Hitler's four doubles. The book was banned in Australia in 1940.
