Lindsay Cripps was born in London in the 1950s and came to Australia with his family when he was seven. Since then he has travelled back to England a number of times (on one occasion living on a canal boat), before settling on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. He has been a full-time student at the University of the Sunshine Coast where he has also tutored and lectured in Creative Writing. His background in visual arts, as well as a consuming interest in reading, has helped his creativity in writing.
