BiographyHistory

Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation was established in 1985 and has over six hundred members. WAAC is an Aboriginally owned not-for-profit organisation with revenue from the sale of art funding Yuendumu's community projects. Warlukurlangu translates to 'belonging to fire' in Warlpiri. Some artists and story tellers that have been involved in Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation are Paddy Japaljarri Sims, Darby Jampijinpa Ross and Neville Japangardi (qq.v.).
