BiographyHistory

Prakiane Viravong was a well-known writer in Laos before the Communist takeover. He fled with his family in 1975. His works are banned in Laos but several reprints and translations of his fictional words and poems have appeared in Thailand and Japan. (From Seri Lao, p. 31).
