BiographyHistory

Sue Stanton has written poetry and short stories since she was fifteen. She won the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander section of the Northern Territory Literary Awards in 1993 for her poem 'How About the Halfcastes'. Belonging to the Kungarakan and Gurindji people, Stanton is a Fullbright Scholar and colonial historian.
