Tsana Dolichva is a scientist and science fiction writer who grew up in Melbourne. When not writing, reading or blogging, she studies dying stars. A passion for astronomy saw her study maths and science at the University of Melbourne, and in early 2016 she successfully completed the requirements for a Ph D in Astrophysics.
Dolichva's first published work as a science fiction author, 'The Job,' appeared in the anthology, FlashSpec Volume One (2006), Her second published work, the short story 'Broken' was published the following year in Antipodean SF. Since then Dolichva has focused largely on her blogsite, Tsana's Reads, through which she primarily reviews various subgenres of science fiction and fantasy, including young adult works. Her efforts to date have been acknowledged by the science fiction community through three Ditmar nominations for Best Fan Writer (2014-2016). Her collaboration with Holly Kench, as editors, led to the publication of the anthology Defying Doomsday in 2016.
