1. HISTORICAL NOTES AND CORRECTIONS:
In the majority of instances, the Frolics' revues were not presented under an umbrella theme. Although advertising invariably highlighted the forthcoming week's entertainment as revue, these advertisements generally included the titles of two or three of the sketches rather than an overall production name. For the week 15-21 December 1922, the feature sketches advertised in the Brisbane Courier were, for example, 'The Stage Rehearsal,' 'April Showers', and 'A La Militaire' (15 December 1922, p.2). A review in the following day's edition indicates that the show also included the sketch 'Taxi' and the farce 'Here's Luck' (16 December 1922, p.10).
