BiographyHistory

In Just, Reminiscing Partidge in effect identifies himself as the Queanbeyan poet of the 1940s who published as 'Billy Williams'. He calls Just, Reminiscing 'Book no. 5' and lists the earlier books as (1) Brumby Land (2) Scattered Inspirations (3) Our Hero and (4) Scattered Inspirations -. The second book with the title Scattered Inspirations has not been traced and it is not known whether it is a revised editon of the earlier book or a new work.

Note: New South Wales Births Deaths and Marriages database reveals that a William Charles Partridge was married in Queanbeyan in 1947 - probably the William Charles Partridge who died in (Sydney?) NSW on 17 November 1982.
