BiographyHistory

A Danish author and film maker whose work A History of Eroticism was banned in Australia in 1966.

The 1958 Australian ban on an earlier danish work, Kaerlighedens killedbog: af glaedens og forargelsesns historie, was lifted to restricted release in 1960.

The english version of this work Love's Picture Book: The History of Pleasure and Moral Indignation (From the French Revolution to the Present Time) was made available on restricted release in Australia in 1973.
