BiographyHistory

As a youth W. Hurley worked in the sugar mills at Mossman and Prosperpine. He married in 1937 and served in World War II. After moving to Townsville in 1959 he worked for the Queensland Railway Department, and was later a member of the Senior Citizens Association of Townsville.
