BiographyHistory

Father Sanz is a Benedictine monk of the Holy Trinity Abbey of New Norcia in southern Western Australia. He spent 1939-1983 at Kalumburu Mission in the far north of Western Australia returning in 2004 to live out his life there. In addition to his memoir he has also published A Grammar & Dictionary of the Pela Language (2005) - the language of the Kuini people, and the Metamorphosis of a Race (2006) co-authored with Dolores Djinmora a senior Kuina elder. - (from the Foreward to his Memoirs... by Susan Bradley)
