BiographyHistory

A noted scientist, Ian Clunies Ross was Professor of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney (1940-1946), Executive Officer of CSIR (1946-1949) and Chairman of CSIRO (1949-1959). In recognition of his contribution to the field of science, he was the recipient of many awards, and in 1991 the Ian Clunies Ross Memorial Foundation was established.
