BiographyHistory

Sir Ninian Stephen migrated to Australia as a child. He studied Law at the Univeristy of Melbourne and later held the positions of Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria and Justice of the High Court of Australia. From 1982-1989 Sir Ninian Stephen served as Governor General of Australia.
