Film and television director/producer.
Geoffrey Nottage began to establish his career as director in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After directing the fourth part of the mini-series Women of the Sun and several episodes of Prisoner in 1981, he became associated with both Sons and Daughters and A Country Practice in 1982. During the remainder of the decade he directed episodes of series such as Learned Friends (1983), Kings (1983), Sweet and Sour (1984), Dancing Daze (1986), The Last Resort (1988) and G.P. (1989). He also oversaw a number of mini-series and telemovies, notably Displaced Persons (1984), Palace of Dreams (1985) and Joe Wilson (1988).
During the 1990s Nottage has directed episodes of Police Rescue (1991-92), Key West (1993), Ship to Shore (1993), The Damnation of Harvey McHugh (1994), Flipper (1995), the US series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1995), Fire (1996), Heartbreak High (1997), Fallen Angels (1997), Water Rats (1997-98) and Medivac (1997-98). In 1995 he also directed the Singapore Sling: Midnight Orchid telemovie. For the Fallen Angels series Nottage was additionally employed as producer.
Since 2000 he has been associated with Crash Palace (2001), Something in the Air (2001), Marshall Law (2002), Blue Heelers (2002), The Lost World (2002), All Saints (2004), Out of the Blue (2008) and Home and Away (2004-2010) among other shows.
