BiographyHistory

Jenny Grace grew up on the Murray River near Nildottie with her parents. The family lived in makeshift shelters and her father was a Murray cod fisherman and a water rat trapper. The family were always moving as they feared the welfare would come and take the children away. Jenny studied to become a teacher and based herself at Lower Murray Nungas Club, started in 1974 by the late Aileen Wilson, to provide support to local Aboriginal people.
