BiographyHistory

Barker served in the 5th Field Ambulance (Australian Medical Corps) at Gallipoli in 1915. He was one of the staff recruited by editor Charles Bean to help compile The Anzac Book. Barker's cartoons and sketches feature prominently in the book. He later also contributed sketches to the Kia-Ora Coo-ee.
