BiographyHistory

John Raymond Hubbell was an American writer, composer and lyricist. Today he is most remembered for the popular song, 'Poor Butterfly.' Among his music theatre works was the 1907 hit A Knight for a Day (revived and revised in Australia in 1910 by Fritz Hart).
